The Go To Nanny

Lucy came to me with an idea of a business knowing that she needed a brand as well as a website and social media accounts.
Lucy was starting from scratch, she was between company names with a rough idea of the image she wanted for her business. Lucy was open to any and all ideas and was in need of help to allow her ideas to come to life.
Lucy had decided on her company name 'The Go-To Nanny'. She wanted a logo that was bold enough to stand out in a competitive industry but it a calm way to resemble her personality and work ethic.
The only detail Lucy had requested for her logo was to include an arrow within the wording. I provided Lucy with a number of sketches to help us glean a more specific idea of her vision, this worked well and gave me a great insight into the aspirations she had for her company branding.
With this in mind I presented Lucy with two design options, of which she had a clear favourite and went with it. A couple of minor colour adjustments made and Lucy had her branding.
Lucy wanted a user friendly, modern and approachable looking website to clearly demonstrate her niche expertise and bespoke services. Similarly to the branding, Lucys vision was open minded. I essentially had a blank canvas. We had agreed the design needed to cater for users with a busy lifestyle and others that have tried everything and are struggling to find the perfect solution to there parenting complications.
Lucy and I kept in regular contact during the design process as I stressed the importance of getting the design just right at this stage as apposed to mid-development. I presented Lucy with a couple of designs, together we combined these options and designed the site she had hoped for.
With the visuals signed off it was time to start the build. I provided Lucy with a preview sub domain so she could watch as her website came to life.
Mid development Lucy had decided there were a couple of amends she wanted to make to the design. Although the visuals were agreed it was important for me to ensure that I could make these amends happen for Lucy. After some discussion to ensure I was clear on the new requirements the changes were made seamlessly without causing too much delay to launching the site.
